Beth and I love this song - technically it's a "Christmas" song - but I think all gospel music is really... Below is a part of the song that hits me pretty hard every time I hear the song:

Looks like another silent night
As we're sung to sleep by philosophies
That save the trees and kill the children
 
That's exactly what's going on right now - too many are trying to protect the trees and too few are trying to protect the unborn children that are being killed by abortion. It's a great song - if you get the chance listen to the words - very powerful.

Shawna and I have loved this song since we first heard it. It is so true. The title says it all... America when Jesus returns will you be sleeping or waiting?

That line... it has always hit me hard to think that a lot of our society today thinks like that.  They say it's not a "real" person yet, but we can read in the Bible that at conception, the child has a soul!  That make it precious, no matter how small!
