I want to share what the Lord's doing in me.
He's showing me things I swore I'd never see.
He's making changes He's taking things out that I just don't need.
He's drawing me in deeper to His love reminding me that I need less of me and more of Jesus.
Well I was on my knees praying "Lord won't you change me?"
Then He opened my eyes then He opened my heart so I could see
That all the things I stood up for and believed just weren't what they seemed.
He said "Son, follow in My Word and you'll see what you really need is more of Jesus."
And now as I'm looking back I can't see how I even acted like I knew who You were, as I locked You up in my safe box
Well, I want You to know that I'm relieving myself of all control and I'm giving it all, and all I have to You.
And now I can finally see, how You wanted me to be more like Your Son, and less like this world
Who never wanted you to send Your Son to sanctify me oh Holy One I pray - You'll show me what to do.
To be more like You - Lord to be more like You.
