Remember Him
With the shape our world is in today I feel we all need to remember. You hear more about violence in the world each day... people being mistreated or even killed. Recently I have heard people say that they would put an animal’s life before a human life...
The world is getting worse each day that passes because Jesus is being taken out of the picture. I know we have heard it said a thousand times but soon we won’t hear it any more because our days will be through here.
The news channels cover many types of stories from how to save money, to president Obama and his blackberry... so I wanted to headline a story…
“Remember Him”
Remember God who gave us life on this earth, which we brought sin into by our own disobedience.
Remember God who sent His own Son, Jesus. Not to condemn us but that through Him we might be saved.
Remember Jesus as He lived each day to uplift His Father's name and layout a foundation for us Christians to follow.
Remember Jesus, the one who changed water to wine, calmed the storm, fed 5k with only five loaves and two fish, walked on water, gave the blind sight, lame to walk, deaf to hear, dumb to speak, raised the dead, and much more!
Remember Jesus, the day they came and took Him away...
They charged Him with no reason...
They beat Him with no remorse...
Remember Jesus as He carried His cross, they mocked Him and spit on Him...
Remember Jesus when they drove the nails into His hands and feet... raised Him up for all to see...
Remember Jesus as He said to His Father while hanging on the cross, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:34
Remember Jesus on the third day when He arose!
Remember HIM. Through Him we can change but without Him we are already dead.
