He Changed Me

I have met a lot of people who think the whole God thing is just a joke... and I really thought this video helps shine a light on laughing at God.

 

As a youth leader I feel I should share this with any youth reading. Throughout my life as a young Christian I would find myself hanging out with a pretty rough crowd. People who did not attend church and probably did not know God. Some times they would make little jokes about church going people. Me being one of those people instead of standing up for what I believed I felt weak and ashamed so I would laugh... that was hard to live with. Knowing what God did for us and what Jesus went through for us all. Why did I laugh? I must say I am still ashamed till this day for those decisions but God has forgiven me and there is no reason for looking back but I can use that experience to help strengthen others who might be going through the same issue.

 

We must stand our ground in our beliefs. God gave His only son to die for our sins... NO ONE should be laughing. Would we be laughing if one of our loved ones passed on? Young ones don't let others entice you to being ashamed of your beliefs. Use some examples from this video and ask them would you be laughing at God if...

 

Listen to the words... will these people be laughing at God when faced with life tragedies. We all have them... deaths in families, job loss, wars, and much more... will they still be laughing?

If you are one who has laughed... I pray you will stop and realize the truth. Once He returns to take His children home I would hate to be one who laughed instead of obeyed.
