He Changed Me

 Hello everyone! I pray you all had a wonderful weekend. I wanted to share an experience my wife and I had over the weekend. As you might has noticed from my blog title there was a fire at our apartment complex.

Around 5 am we were woken up by sirens... we are very use to hearing these due to us living so close to the highways and fire departments. So we continued to lay in bed... but a few minutes later we heard more and they were very LOUD... so my wife decided to look out our window and we never expected to see what we saw next... a glowing orange fire from across our court yard.

We could not believe how bad it was when the fire department first arrived. Immediately my wife started praying as so did I. We knew that there were at least 12 apartments in that building. I grabbed my digital camera and started recording.

The fire, even though very saddening, reminded us that our time here is limited and our worldly possessions are not forever. I pray that these families will realize how blessed they are that they all made it out of this. The one who protected them was God. We all need to pray for these families and remember ourselves what God’s Word says about where our treasure is to be kept:
