Each of us are unique to God. He has created us and put us where we are for a specific duty, but if we let satan condemn us he will. Be aware that satan does have power in this world and can manipulate us all. He is smart but with God He has already been outwitted. I had to learn this soon and it is so AWESOME when God let’s you see why things happened the way they did… even if that answer comes over 19 years later.

Growing up, my parents always had me in church. That’s just the way I was raised. Twice on Sunday, once on Wednesday, and then if anything was going on outside of that, we would be there for that too! Once I turned 18 and moved out, I moved away from everything I had been taught growing up. I looked for fulfillment in guys, alcohol and eventually I tried the drug route.

I was saved as a young child. At least, I thought that I was. I was raised in church, the son of a preacher, I even sang with my family and was active in the church's youth group. In my late teens, I turned away from the church, but after a few years I found myself back in church, dedicated to doing His work again. I had begun to date a girl from one of our sister churches, and we made plans to get married. Things were going so well in our lives.
