If you do NOT believe that God is still the same God today then I pray that you will read this story. God has revealed to me that He has some work for my family and I and while I am striving to be obedient to each request, He is confirming events that are happening in my life along the way.
First I want to mention that God’s Word states in Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

We all as Christians have duties Jesus calls upon us to do. I want to share with you all some heavy burdens I have had recently. Please consider yourselves throughout your readings here.
Easter Sunday, I have been looking forward to worshiping my savior on this day. The reason… this is the day He arose! An amazing revealing to us all! However, my heart was very saddened. The devil will try his best to get too each one of us when he can and when we notice that he is trying to get us down we need to pray for strength.

What a weekend it has been. My daughter Michelle was scheduled for an out patient procedure at 7:00 am Friday. The laparscopy procedure for endometriosis appeared to have gone well but on the drive home from the hospital Michelle passed out. Her husband, Jeffrey, turned around and went back to the hospital. Michelle was conscious all day but had very low blood pressure and her red blood cell count kept dropping until it was nearly low enough to warrant a transfusion. It was not until this poin

In a few weeks my brother will be leaving for Iraq. My family had a feeling that he was going to have to go there sooner or later. But i didnt realize it would be this soon. It's really hard to see him go because he is someone that i always can turn too when i really need him the most. I can't stand hearing the news talking about the war in Iraq because i know that nothing good is coming out of it. All i can do is pray to god and ask him to keep my brother safe.

I have some thoughts on my mind that I would really like to share. Prayer... should it be that hard to do? Let me explain myself before I go any further. I pray all the time, but before, I would rarely find myself praying. It just seemed so awkward. When I was alone I had no problem praying or at church but NOT in public. Really who wants to see that... that's what I would ask myself.
