I choose my first husband based on world standards. He was not christian and I believed that I could change Him. I went through years of pain and hurt,  due to my choice of ignoring God and doing things my way.  I have been divorced now for over 3 years.  The past three years have been very very hard.  I had to learn how to live a single life again without the support of a spouse financially or emotionally.
